I read how this product may help me in getting my nonfeeding(read 1 - 3 mealies a week) 46 gram leopard gecko to feed more readily. I have tried all available prey items and he's not interested. He has shed 3 times in 2 months, but won't eat much and lost a gram or two actually.

I need him to feed so I can get a fecal done to ensure he is parasite free. His temps and encloser are set up the same as the rest of my rack, so that shouldn't be the issue.

Has anyone ever used said product and had good results. It seems to basicly be a digestive tract conditioner made from natural products.

Acidophiliz+ is a pro-biotic (good bacteria) that is used to balance the gut flora in the intestines of animals and humans. For example, like after antibiotic treatments the bad (gram negative) and good (gram positive) bacteria in the intestines can be killed off. There is speculation as to whether or not it is effective in cold-blooded animals though, but it wouldn't hurt if administered properly.

Thank you. I have even tried beef baby food as a "get him to deficate" food, but he won't eat too much of that either. I really want him to eat enough for a fecal to be possible. I would rather not treat him for worms until I know he has them.

Not too close, but he has bred with a female last week(7 weeks of very light eating prior to that) I had him in a 20 gallon for the first month with 3 hides and a constant 91 hot spot, but moved him to my rack after that.

I will try the slurry soon if all else fails.
