I was wondering is it heatlhy if leo is only strictly eat on mealworms. But will it have problems? Im thinking about having my leo eat mealworms only. no crickets... im sick of crickets... they goes take my budgets... i would say i probably spent about 50 bucks or 100 bucks since i got my leo. D: She eats too much! Ugh. Are Mealworms staple of Leo's food? like can eat it whatever it wants? I have a friend who own 3 leopard gecko. They all eats only mealworms. He told me. They are addicted to it. (which i will be getting another leo from him) :D Ohh how exciting!
So Please tell me anything... Im not sure...
I wanted to know if it's fine.

I only feed meal worms to my leopard gecko. He is absolutely fine. I do however calcium powder coat them. I also always have 1-2 locusts (these guys live forever in 'keep tubs') in the tank at all times for variation. Just remember they wouldnt only eat one specific species in the wild as prey... it the least you can do for a captive L.gecko.

Pure mealworms are ok, as long as your dusting them with calcium powered and i even use vitamins too however i like a mix of feeders i keep

wax worms, mealworms, crickets, silkworms, super worms, and phoenix. as a few feeders each one has there own good benefit to give to the gecko...however you don't have to have one this large...however i always keep phoenix at hand since there amazing calcium levels... All together with feeders its a well balanced diet.

crickets are the worst!they stink, they are frieken loud at night, and they get out.and sometimes they do more damage to my geckos than good.i reccomend getting some roaches and mealworms.they both breed easy and dont stink.also,i only spend about 5 bucks a month on veggies to feed a whole lot of roaches and mealworms.you do need variety though in my opionion.i mean, how would you like to eat a plain turkey sandwhich for every meal of every day for the rest of your life?you need more to supplement the diet.

The longest living leopard gecko feeds on mealworm all it's life. There's something to be said about that.
