Im getting one of my empty tanks back together for a new gecko and the UTH is only partially sticking to the glass. I was wondering wat i could use to re-stick the UTH to the bottom.

Thanks in Advance.

I don't stick my UTH on the bottom of the tank. If you really want to stick it down, perhaps you can use foil tape?

Use spray glue. I used it on one of mine and it held just fine. Foil tape would work good also

I use silicone adhesive (aquarium glue). It's supposed to hold up to 400 F. and it was handy at the time. It's also easier to remove if you ever have to.

Almost forgot to mention. You can increase the efficiency of your UTH (if you have one that radiates heat on both sides) by placing a Styrofoam sheet under your tank so the UTH is “sandwiched” between the bottom of the tank and the Styrofoam.
Some mat instructions tell you to do this. It really does help a lot.
Also, the UTH should be flush against the bottom of the tank with no sagging air gaps in the middle. If you don’t, you will have un-even temp.zones. That may, or may not be a problem. It depends on how picky you are! ;)
