Unless you are going to be housing more than 20 or so geckos, just go with 28 or 32. I don't use 32 because I think my Leo needs it, I use 32 because when I used to house in 16qt I would always think to myself that I am cramming these geckos. I switched for peace of mind. Just a personal thing for me
