ok, so i guess the few who have are keeping there notes to themselves so i'll share mine, i find them smaller and spunkier than other leos. (what a forum for if no one shares but i guess money talks)
That is a good question... I do know that Afghanicus do tend to be smaller of a species of leo's (kinda like the dwarfs of the gecko world, lol), but as far as a coss would be concerned, i don't know...
A friend of mine has an Afghan/Fascio cross... still a juvie tho... i wonder how it will turn out... (length and size wise)
I don't know about Afghan crosses. I did notice that the poo smells different for our fascio crosses. I know that sounds weird, but it's true. I just never posted anything about it. They are also more vocal. We were told about their vocalizations when we got them. At first I thought I was imagining the poo thing, but then Ryan said he noticed it too. Since it is a different animal it is no surprise there are little differences we notice here and there. I'm sure it is the same for your Afghans and crosses in regards to size differences that you have noticed.
So far from what I've hatched, I haven't seen any Afghan crosses that were as petite as my pures are. BUT that's not saying much considering that I haven't hatched out a non Afghanicus hatchling in awhile! LOL!
