Age before selling?

How long does everyone keep their hatchlings before letting them go. i was think 6 week or 15 grams, but wanted to make sure thats not too early.

6 weeks or 15 grams is not a bad rule to go bye. To reach either one of those I would assume the gecko is eating well and healthy.

For me I like to be able to sex mine before selling.

I do not think you have to go by a time so much. If the gecko is eating good, growing fast, is alert and healthy you could sell it sooner. say 10 grams at a reptile expo. I would however make sure it is at least 15 grams before shipping...

For me each one is different. If Im at a show and selling super hypos, then it is like Dave said. If I am selling a Raptor and tell the person what sex it is I want to know for sure what sex it is. Plus some stuff I just want to see the changes it goes through before selling so maybe wait till 20+ grams.Hope this all makes sense.

I usually start listing them after they reach 20g.

If they are tangs it could be a good 6 months before people sell them so they can make sure of the coloring and if they want to hold it back or not.

Thanks for the help i think i may go with 20 grams being they may have some tang influence and would like a couple holdbacks

Yes, you definately want to see what the coloration will be if it is a higher end morph. that makes all the difference. if they are just normals no big deal...
