I drive a '98 Pontiac Sunfire (the 4 door version), which I bought off of ebay And I beat the crap out of it! In the 1.5 years I've had it I've driven about 35,000 miles. It's been from Maine to North Carolina and still ticking. It makes funny noises and shakes over 35 mph (unbearably over 80-85 mph) but it's saved my butt from many, many accidents. I  my car!
Im in a nice old hand me down 1992 nissan maxima 4 door.
My FAVORITE care I ever had was a 1995 Eagle Talon TSI Turbo AWD Soild black / black leather interior with sunroof and complete sport package, ahhh the days before children........

I am not your average Touring Bike Rider. I am 6'5".. much more than the majority of the people that ride this type of bike are a lot shorter. So, I lucked out with this Canadian[Quebec] Bike of AWESOMENESS. I commute to work M-F [~ 8 miles each way.. If I take the hills home ~10 miles]. Neither Tamara or I drive. We both bike everywhere. We get groceries, take our dogs to the dog park [~6 miles away in their cart], get supplies [200+ lbs] for the farm[haha] and even sometimes use the cart as a Rickshaw for eachother all on our bikes. I guess this means we are hippies.. :main_no: haha
Check out our Cart.. and we know we are dorks too.
I think that is awesome that you guys ride instead of drive! My wife and I live on the outskirts of Phoenix, and drive 80 miles a day round trip for work, 5 days a week. The two of us do carpool though.
Wowza.. 80 mile commute. Thats crazy. Carpool is a good thing. Eventually I would love for Tamara and I to start actually going on Day Long Bike Rides/Camping Trips. Biking there on our bikes with all of our Gear and such. The only bad part is I don't think we could bring our dogs. Biking Up Hill with the Trailer is not fun.
I have an '02 Ford E-150 that is custom from the floor up. The floor is chopped 6 inches, there's a power lift (gimp elevator), complete hand controls, power tie downs (so I can drive from my wheelchair) and various bells and whistles...
It only has 45k miles on it because I don't drive it too much and it's a great road trip vehicle! :smoking:
