this isnt a major concern but im just wondering if this is normal, my gecko has always had these air bubbles or air pockets under its front legs, sort of the "arm pitt" area, they seem to have got slightly bigger with age.

my leo is about 9 months old and after a few sheds these bubbles havent gone away, if i poke them you can feel its just air and isnt causing any discomfort to the gecko.

Just wondering if this is common and normal and if theres anything i can do about it? thanks

I can't see his whole body but it looks like your gecko is overweight. Feed him a bit less.

If you do a search here on GF, you will see LOTS of threads started on the same subject with LOTS of answers.

ok i did a serach and found a few threads, most people seem to think they are calcium/protein deposits, however i find that difficult to believe because the pockets on my leo look like they contain only air and nothing else.

but perhaps if they are protein/calcium deposits they are due to me dusting the crickets too often with vitamins?

Im dusting giving it calcium +D3 every other day, and multivitamins twice per week, is that too often?

thanks

Yep, Give calcium w/D once a week, multivitamins once a week, plain calcium 2x a week. I am pretty sure your overfeeding him as well.
