how long do i let new air in like open the cointainer up with eggs in it for a air change that im spousto do ones a week

A couple of seconds or so. Enough to let fresh air in but not to much as to let a lot of humidity out.

Once a week is good. just long enough to throw another clutch in and close it back up. Sometimes my egg containers go every 2 weeks Because the way I do it, its automatic when I go to put the females next clutch into the egg container for her eggs. Of coarse if I have a female that's not laying at regular 2 week intervals I will give them a burp. that works good for me and I have had no problems with hatching out eggs. of course I do use larger containers for the eggs so there is more air space. I use recycled HD plastic B-78 food containers.
