Albino Leopard Gecko

Hey,

I know this sounds odd but do Albino Leo's have more problems than other morphs? Or is it just a name cause of there colour... just something somebody said to me :disappointed: Its just cause I am thinking of purchasing one and he's cute.

Albino leopard geckos aren't much different compaired to other morphs when it comes to health. The only big difference is that they have a sensitivity to light. Keeping bright lights off them is very important. It can stress them out and create other problems. I'd say whatever the person told you is not true.

So It would be better not to put a vivarium light in there and just use natural light? Thanks

Leopard geckos are genrally nocturanl besides the small amount of time in the morning and evenings that they are active. They don't require any lights at all. I use red colored lights in my tanks to allow me to see them but also keeps them more active during the day.
