I don't no if this question has been asked or this topic discussed. I haven't heard any thing as of late. This is my theory. Perhaps others may share it OR have already had it.

What genetics did the three(perhaps 4th) albino strains come from.
Theory is they come from the different subspecies. For example Perhaps originally the bells came from afghanicus. I could see how that dark read color of the afghanicus eyes could be the source of those red bell eyes. and similarly dark markings even as albinos.

Albino Afghans Cool:main_laugh:

Opinions and thoughts please.

Respectfully Submitted,
Zach Spyker

I could be totally wrong , but my mind was racing and had to get it out of my head.;)

I actually believe the Patternless came from the Afghanicus, they have a very similar body shape. In my opinion :)

I'm not so sure... it's possible but the first Patternless and Hets that we had (which was the very first year they were available). They were not smaller geckos, in fact some of them ended up being 70+ grammers.

Same goes for the Bell Albinos, my original females were huge 75 gram girls. According to Mark Bell it was a random genetic mutation that popped out of his normal group.

I agree with you about the Bells Kelli, our original male Hybino (who was produced by you in 04) is 72 grams :)

I so wish we had more info on the specific origins of many of the leo morphs. :main_yes: We probably never will really know but it's fun to ponder and speculate. I wish I had known back then what I know now etc.
