i'm from the uk and we have a breeder here who sells a new morph called the hue pinstripe, i've emailed him about it but he says he needs to ask the creator of the morph alex hue, my main question was if the sold black eye trait the hue pinstripe expresses was the same as the non albino eye of the eclipse morph? if anybody knows i'd appreciate some info on them.
thanks all :main_thumbsup:

IMO they are NON albino RAPTOR's & RERS's.Just a case of differant roads same destination.Black eyes & white washed nose IMO = eclipse. And the body format range from reverse striped & patternless reverse striped.

This pinstripe looks just like any other eclipse patternless reverse striped-AKA-NON albino RAPTOR.IMO no need for yet another trade name.

that's what i thought too but the guy selling them in the uk says that they are not eclipses and he doesn't think they are compatable with the RAPTOR/eclipse trait, just wondered if anyone actualy knew for sure

I’d give my vote for eclipse. I seriously doubt there is another random mutation for black eye.

If they are not Homozygous Eclipses, I would feel safe saying they are Het Eclipse or have Eclipse blood in their lineage.

If there not asking loads just buy one and breed it to a RAPTOR.You'll soon know coz if the offspring have black eyes + white wash nose = same eclipse gene.

i've got some pisntripes from AH. I honestly think they are just eclipse. Next year i'm pairing one of them with a raptor. So time will tell

the hue pinstripes are twice the price of a normal patternles stripe eclipse, so i think that unless they truly are a new morph it's just a case of paying for the name, i'll stick with my eclipses for now

I had bought a pinstripe directly from him two years ago. It did not have solid black eye's nor did it prove out to be dominant like he told me. I didn't work with them after that season. I'm not to sure what to say about those.
