i found 3 aliens today, now what do i do with them? do i separate them or keep them in the container with the rest of the worms? i think i read something about separating them when they are beetles. then what? sorry for all the q's. if you dont feel like answering them all if you have a good website that would be great

Mealworm or superworms? Yes you need to move them all away from the other worms.

they're mealies... ok so i moved them to a separate container i know they dont eat in this stage (right?) but what comes next? beetles? then what lol

Beetles come next, then they beetles lay eggs and the cycle starts over again. Move the beetles to a new container about ever 1-2 weeks.

Beetles come next. You can either move the beetles to a new container when they break out of the pupa or you can leave them in there. I actually keep all four life stages together and have a very self-sufficient thriving colony but I know most people separate the stages. If you're going to separate the beetles, have a setup just like one with the mealies (bedding + Orange Cube or some fruits/veggies for moisture and vitamins) but have a paper towel roll or some cardboard egg carton in there for the beetles to climb on.

Beetles, then you leave em in a container with the oats as bedding and eventually they will mate with eachother. And VOILA! Babies!!! XD
