I'm nebby-so is your leo/rep hobby mainly a one person thing, or is your significant other part of it too? Not talking money, but like "hey, I want some of this morph, or you should pair these ones up" etc etc.
My other half is all about the hatchlings. He tends to want to see what's hatching out and who is cooler looking. Our 3yr old always wants to hold them and help me out :)

Yeah i would say for me its more of a famly thing my wife helps alot while i am at work with the cleaning and what not and my 3 boys tend to be our name makers lol i think the best part of the hobby the the learning for my boys sometimes they surprize me with some random info in a question that make me sit back and say to myself "who told them the hatchling morphs would be?" lol

The geckos are a part of my family! My husband and I don't have kids or other pets (no other hobbies, and I don't even like shopping!), and so we treat our geckos like our sons and daughters! I'm not exaggerating, we moved house because I need more room to keep geckos! My husband doesn't mind too, he loves the geckos (but whether my geckos like him is another story, haha). I do most of the gecko care, he will only help in the big cleaning day, when I need someone to move the heavy tanks to the shower for washing.

Well, my girlfriend and I have 3 right now and are getting more. She doesn't have much to do with them but she does hold them and check on them from time to time. The bad thing about it is that she's the one who decided she wanted them to begin with, and then I get addicted......what's wrong with this picture? lol...

For sure a family thing here. My wife has as many wants as I do. Plus so works with the bugs (feeders) more than I do. My son does all the hard work on clean up days. So yep we spend more time with the geckos than we do watching TV or anything else.
Oh the one part that is NOT good is that with them being so involve, it is a race each day to see who gets up first and checks the incubator.......LOL

It's a family thing for us. My husband helps out a lot and breeds the roaches for us. When he's at work, my daughter usually helps out.

Honestly, years ago my husband wanted to get a lizard & I wouldn't let him. I knew he'd like it for a while & then get bored. Fast forward to my youngest wanting a pet. So yes, it's a family thing. My husband gave me the sure he gets a lizard, but honestly he still has very little to do with them. He certainly doesn't like the mealie factory set up in the kids room. The boys, now 5 & 7, LOVE every thing to do with our crew of 6 (3 leos, 3 cresties). I take them to reptile shows for fun.

It's definitely a family thing for us, as my fiance loves the geckos and helping out with them. The only difference between us is that I am more of the one that could talk about leos all day long.. He is a big part of everything we do, but you guys will never see him on here, it'll always be me :)
