So some of you may have read somewhere about my female that didn't eat for 3 1/2 months. I have her on Rept-aid and dewormer now for a few days, and she still shows no interest in the superworms i give to all of my geckos.
I thought about the idea to put small mealworms in a bowl and see if the squirming might entice her
Welp
She goes for them. Ever since I got her which was about almost 4 months ago, she has never looked SO INTERESTED in her food. All it took was a bowl and mealworms for her to eat.
I may jinx myself on this and she might go on a not-eating spree again for another few months when i give her mealworms, but hopefully she starts eating like a normal gecko!
Never give up on a off-food gecko, and try EVERYTHING YOU CAN. It's worth it when you get the relief of seeing them actually put something into their bodies after so long
It may be the mealworms, the rept-aid, or the de-wormer, or everything at once, but I sure as hell spent the whole time watching her chow down after soooooo long without food
