All-Year Breeding

For the breeders out there, who keep your leos successfully breeding all year long, how do you do it?

Do you maintain a very warm temperature all year, so the female can keep ovulating, and the male can keep breeding? What are the conditions?

I want to try to make mine breed for most of the year with some cool down periods. More heat is my only guess on how to do this. How does this all-year breeding work?

I don’t think you can get each leo to breed all year around. It would be way to rough for the females, as breeding can take a lot out of them. The females will just lay what the lay. But you can produce hatchlings all year round, by using different groups. Cool down one group, and have them start laying, while the other group is about to stop.

Like Nick said, you will have different groups that are breeding and layiing at different times. They will go in cycles and after you have just so many breeders you will have some that are breeding about all the time. Keep in mind that when you have this going on, it keeps YOU busy year round as well.
