This is Allie. She's a Madagascar Giant Day Gecko that hatched last night. She's shedding in these pictures.....
We don't actually know if it's a boy or girl yet; I just insisted on the name Allie

No, not skittish at all. She was way too focused on getting her shedding skin off and was oblivious to us holding & photographing her. Quite the oposite of a baby leo.

as for the crimson... all it is, is a line breed trait that have ALOT of red as adults....
