Almost Disappointed

So, my wife and I went to the Repticon Expo today in Atlanta...hoping to find the pair for our Day Gecko & our Tremper Albino Gecko. Unfortunately the show didn't have all the usual vendors...so we lucked out on finding our new guys. On a bright note, we found a beautiful Veiled Chameleon thru FL Chams. Those people are wonderful, they are very thorough...and cheap. We brought home a little guy, check him out. Tell me what you think of Leo the Veiled Chameleon.:D

Hey! We were there too! The show was a bit lame, BUT I went to meet a couple of breeders & pick up my new leos I already bought. Plus my 4yr old daughter got to touch a snake, which made the trip worth it!!

Very nice cham!:main_thumbsup: They had a very nice display, one of the best there.

You're right, the show wasn't very good. Probably the worst I'd ever seen. We try to go everytime they're in town. We started attending the reptile convention over a year ago in Orlando, FL. Where did you buy your Leo's from. The only nice leo's we saw, where the sencond vendors to the right back corner (once you enter the door). They had many reptiles at a good price. However, the leo we were looking for is the Tremper Albino Leo or a Day Gecko. We didn't see any tremper albino and the day geckos we saw didn't look very healthy. We weren't too convinced.

The last show that was in town was much better. One of the vendors (Gecko File & Bright Albino), was selling many beautiful leopards. That's where we got our little guy. Check him out. :D

That is very correct. They do such a great job. I really wish they have been in the show.

Sorta glad to know it was a sorry show ... it was my first, so didn't know what to expect!! I am looking forward to going to a better one, unfortunately, I won't make it to Daytona this year. :(

I had already purchased geckos from Chris (Palmetto Gecko) and from Paul (Bright Albino). I arranged to pick them up there. I'll post picks of all my leos when I gets some photos! They are so sweet!!

I know the geckos you're talking about (on the front left corner). I am new at all this and rather buy from breeders on this forum, so I know what I am getting!

Thanks so much for the kind words, we really appreciate it. :) That male is looking awesome!

This show was the first one that we haven't vended in a while. We did go check it out though and stayed for about 30 minutes. It was one of the smallest and disappointing shows I have seen so we were kinda glad we didn't pay to vend, lol. Alot of the "Regulars" weren't there so it was a bunch of wholesalers....

We did finally give in to our curiosity though and got a few Dart Frogs, might as well buy something after paying admission, haha.

I totally agree. The show [seemingly] had a total of 20 vendors. It was a severe disappointment....
