Always get pregnant from mating?

My geckos mated May 3. I keep checking my female and I cannot see any eggs in her stomach! I don't know if this is just my untrained eye. However, there is a green spot inside her stomach and a line of dots going up and down. Are these pregnancy signs? And they get pregnant with each mating, correct?

They don't necessarily become gravid with each mating process. Just like humans... We don't necessarily reproduce every time we engage in sexual activity. This is why it's important to leave the male and the female together for longer than one "session." You might need to leave them together for at least a month or so to ensure she becomes gravid.

I can get some pics of the stomach. I'll have to wait til someone's around to help cause she's very wiggly.

I tried leaving her in with the male and when I woke up the next morning the male's tail was black at the end and he had scratches all over his head so I think she attacked him. I don't leave them together anymore.
