Hey if anyone watches this season of American Idol what do you think of that Adam Lambert guy? I love the industrial/rock/goth look. Not to mention it did a killer version of Smokey Robinson's "The Tracks of my Tears"

I just downloaded Black and White, Tracks of my Tears and Ring of Fire off of iTunes. The studio versions are amazing.....

Mel we have the same taste in tatts and music i'm digging it.

I think he look is pretty much glam rocker which would work great if he could keep his edge. David Cook was great but he lost ALOT of his edge with his album. Very disapointed in that. Let's hope that David sticks around and is able to write some edgeier music.

He’s pretty good, and so is that young red head (fake red). I think the final will be between those two.

I dont watch the show. I have seen pics and video of this guy though

He reminds me of Eddie Munster!! :main_laugh:

I just cant take the guy seriously when he looks like that...

I also think Adam is going to win this year...he's pretty genius so far. He seriously looks like Elvis!

I am not super impressed with anyone else, but my second favorite is Danny Gokey. When he gets up high he has a Michael Bolton tone to his voice.

For some reason this season isn't as great as previous ones.

There is no one that stands out this year next to Adam... it's really hard to pick someone as a close second based on performances. The black chick with the killer vocals should be up there, but she's made some poor choices of songs...

I went to college with David Cook and worked at the venue he performed at there called the setlist. I didn't really enjoy his music. However, he did very well on the show. It was interesting to watch him on TV. I have not heard his album. I imagine it is similar to his stuff before the show.

I don't have tv service, so I haven't watched it this year. I never was into American Idol in the past anyway... I sort of live under a rock when it comes to stuff like this. This year it's quite the buzz around here though because one of the contestants is from my town - Kris Allen. I don't know him at all, but my boyfriend says that Kris used to come to some of his karaoke shows a few years ago.
