Hey, I was wondering if any of you know how much blood a geckos heart pumps... If you guys know a good website with this info that would be great also.

I would suggest googling leopard gecko cardiology, also leopard gecko heart physiology for more information but from what I saw studies on the hearts of reptiles has been few and far between.

I know... now all I have to worry about is getting an A on my gecko heart project. haha

That's gonna be a tough project as very little has been studied about reptile hearts at all let alone specifically leopard geckos.

Very likely a wise choice since you'd be so limited on info available to the public on the matter. Why not pick ape hearts and discuss the similarities between them and us.

Or if you want to stay within the reptilian species, pick something common, like a python or a boa constrictor...an alligator, or an iguana maybe.

Definately switch your animal, if you still can.
