Hey guys, haven't been around to keep up since i joined a couple months ago. lol. anyways, a few months back i picked up a couple gecko's looking to see what all the fuss was about, and one was gravid, well, the first round she only laid one good egg, and it finaly hatched today! opened up the hovebater this afternoon to find this lil guy, Uno, since he's my first born.lol.
both his parents are lavender reverse stripe het raptor, it looks to me like the stripes there, the eyes are kinda pinkish, but i couldn't get a good pic without handling him, and i'm not about to put that much stress on him today. let me know what you guys think.

And i can honestly say i know what the fuss is about now, this lil critters are awesome. but now i kinda want more of the little ones. addictive lil critters ain't they?

Congrats! Looks like you got a very pretty Reverse Stripe Tremper het Raptor here! Even its tail is striped :main_thumbsup: From above, it doesn't look Raptor, but if it gets all red eyes, you know it is one. It's possible with those genetics. You're up to a good start :D

thanks guys, he hatched this morning, and momma's just laid another egg. the only problem is, now that i've got this lil guy, i wanna pair up one or two of my other females before the seasons over. i'm hoping tremper reverse stripe, and now i'm thinking what if i paired her with him, lol, and got this that or that. my original plan was not to pair anything up this season since she came gravid, but, soooo tempting lol

Just take it slow and make sure you have time to plan everything out. Congrats on hatching your first baby!

i plan on taking it slow. lol, i've got plans for years from now with my colony in my head, but nothing in the immediate future lol. just excited. went from constrictors and pythons to these tiny guys, i still got a lot to learn before i start any serious breeding. i'm still experimenting with moist hide substrates, all the different feeders, etc with my guys. they're my learning experience. thankfully the breeder who's colony i aquired stays in contact. she's just as helpful as reading the forums, and is just as excited as i am for the hatchling lol. anyways, thanks for the advice! it will be heeded. and she dropped another egg yesterday, so, looking forward to seeing what comes out this time around.
