Black Hole or Not to Be?

If the mom possibly carried the Eclipse gene, it could very well be a Black Hole :D
They're all gorgeous babies, very nice HJ! Congrats!

Jess.
Her Mom last year had a rough time egging.
She hatched a some kind of albino beauty ????
not quite sure what it was.....Died in about 7 days.
One hatch was a Eclipse though.
Gave it to Jim.
And this girl's eyes are really looking black more.
Black Hole or Not to Be Black Hole? ....
picture.php

That is the Question.
per: [W. S. Spear]
She is a beauty either way.
Thanks.

Hi Richard.
Thanks for comments, especially if it were a Black Hole.
I had no idea what made up a Black Hole....
so I read up on a few descriptions.
Seems it may be.
The problem is I can see the eyes are dark but my vision is
not good enough to say Black or not.
I'll have to have my gecko buddy take a look before I call it.
Articles mention white tip nose....
She has that.
Pop was a giant Nova and Mom a Snow.
Looks like all the photos I've seen.
So now I'll try to get a eye color confirmed.
Certainly appreciate you calling my attention to it.
Take care. HJ
I wish you luck and will follow this thread to find out so be sure to keep us updated! The black hole is my favorite morph hands down, and it definitely looks like one! A good eye shot could easily let us tell you for sure ;) but from what I can see of the eye in the picture it certainly appears eclipse, but hard to tell with such a small view.

Ill try to stop by Hjs today and take a look. Geckos 2, 3, and 5 are from the same pairing. 2 and 3 are clutchmates.

The maternal grandmother of 2,3,and 5 is a banded tremper eclipse albino het blizzard. The maternal grandfather is a BIG snow male from the late great "CONAN".

Hey Richard....Keeping you posted on " BLACK HOLE ".....or not.....
As Jim mentioned....he came over and confirmed.........
Saw solid BLACK eyes on the Enigma.
also saw
Solid Ruby Eyes on the clutch mate.
................odds not supposed to happen?? according to him.

The first clutch from that female also produced what appears a possible
giant (quite long) Tremper Enigma....enigma eyes
( I though I saw red there)
But...Hey........TWO out of THREE ain't bad.
Sing along if you know the words.
Don't know them....just hum anything.
Thanks again for calling my attention to the black hole deal.
Take care. Hj
