Almost all day geckos are arboreal, every single one i've ever had has spent the vast majority of their time in the higher areas in their enclosures, only coming down to eat
If the enclosure is secure, they don't really need a lock. I fed mine pinhead crickets and honey, everything you listed will be just fine. No you don't need a UTH unless its very cold in your house. I used a UVB and a heat bulb, i can't remember exactly what is was but it was very low watts. They do however need a vertical (taller than it is wide) enclosure with lots of stuff to climb in\on. I used sphagnum moss for my substrate and several live plants and fake vines in the top of the enclosure. Your supposed to spray the enclosure once or twice a day, for humidity and for them to drink, however if yours is awesome and drinks out of a bowl like mine used to do, you really only need to give it a good mist every other day.So should they be in an enclosure that locks? What did you feed it? I read fruit flies, small mealworms, and fruit like bananas and the repashy gecko foods. Do I need a UTH? My extra enclosure has one but I can take it off if it's not needed, I didn't find anything about them needing it.
They are arboreal.I think that they're terrestrial, would you need a screen enclosure?
