Some breeders began breeding their geckos earlier, around october/november of 2009. Breeders manipulate the environmental conditions to "trick" the geckos into thinking it's the breeding season. Therefore, the geckos ovulate earlier on. Other geckos may just naturally ovulate earlier, without any manipulation.

Im one of those people that started breeding at the end of november and i have 3clutches and one clutch hatched so its 4clutches all together.

So, gucci mane, How do u manipulate the environmental conditions to "trick" the geckos into thinking it's the breeding season??

i simply turn down the temp to 75degrees during the day and 69 to 70 at nite for a short period of 4week gradually raise the temp over a course of 2weeks. during the cool down period dont feed and when gradually bring the temp back to the usual setting feed heavy and introduce your breeders works great for me.

Thx for the advice~
But do u change the room temp?
Or change the temp of the heat tape?
