Another tale of a bleeding heart.

Well, my tale starts like many others. "I went to the pet store to get some supplies..."

And well, I saw this little one in the tank with some others:

She looks healthy enough and I was intrigued by her bright oranges and greenish markings so I asked to look at her. The pet store associate took her out and handed her to me and she's missing almost all the toes on her hind feet. Well.. next thing you know, I'm paying 9 dollars (Manager gave me a discount and evidently didn't realize they were already 11 dollars off (it wasn't advertised but it rang up that way!) ) and walking out the door with the little one.

I'm such a pushover

She's currently 21 grams. I think I'm going to name her Freya. Oh, and I did get that piece of shed off her toe.

I like the spots too, and her deep orange coloration. She's a cutie!

I'm really glad I picked her up. She's such a sweetie. She's exploring her new enclosure now .

I would have paid $9 dollars any day for her. Nice find, resembles an Emerine almost with the faint green markings to her.

She is gorgeous..and I would have left with her too for that price!

I think her green markings are neat but I don't expect them to stay. Can't complain about the price, either. Thanks all for the comments!
