Any dividing ideas?

Hey everyone,

I have a four foot self constructed tank that has a middle divider, one side adults the other juvies. Any ideas what I could do to keep the two sides from seeing each other without losing much visibility. I thought of maybe cutting a 4inch strip of background but I was hoping maybe some of you mightve already run into this problem and had other ideas.

I'm open to suggestions.
