Any Guess on what type?

Well Eddie just shed and you can definatly see his tru colors now. Can anyone tell me if he is just a normal Leopard Gecko or a different type?

I would say he was just a dark normal, if you can find another dark female, maybe try line breeding it. As melantistic leos are still being sought after.

Could he still be in his "pet store" colors? There seem to be a lot of "dark" leos that yellow up after they get home, but I don't know how long that usually takes.

That's my bet. Once he has proper heating, proper food and proper hides, he'll brighten up a ton.
