Any Hope?

I know someone just posted a thread about their female laying an egg in the water, but I have another question.

So, Easter Morning, and I guess the Easter Bunny left me an extra egg in a waterdish.
Haha.

But yeah, one of my females had only ONE egg and she laid it in there. The egg looks perfect, not squishy but very firm shelled and everything.
Two things are wrong though.
1. It was so slippery trying to get out of the water dish, it might've turned over.
2. There is no Bullseye yet. She mated with my Blizzard male about a month ago, and has rejected bred again while ovulating. So I'm guessing the eggs should be fertile.

Is there any hope that this egg will hatch?
If it will, what a great story for my first hatchling. I've never hatched a little guy before.

i always incubate even if there is doubt. If i have strong doubt i dont put those eggs in with known good eggs for fear of mold spreading. I would just mix up some perlite and incubate check on it in a week or so. See if it candles pink and isntr molding, then you can answer your own question :)

Turning the egg over soon after it's laid should not be a problem because it does take awhile for the embryo to attach, or so I've heard. There are some eggs where I can't see the bull's eye at any time and they hatch. Incubate it and see what happens (I know it's hard to wait).

I just threw out the egg. It began to stink very bad, and there still wasn't anything visible inside.
