Ok, I'm beyond frustrated at this point. I'm sure a lot of people have read about what has been going on with my guys... lost two already, possibly another... and one who is still sick.
We've been to 2 vets and no one had any idea as to what is going on. Loki and Odin have been on Baytril for a little over a week now and I'm still not seeing anything. Loki is in way better condition that Odin, tho still doesn't eat on her own like she should. Odin, on the other hand, is looking horrible. Initially he had a nasty eye infection. Cleared up with drops from the vet. then he was fine for a week and then the eye infection came back. Still giving him drop, and looks like the infection has cleared up, but he barely opens his eyes. Not sure if it's still eye problems. Also, with Odin I notice on a daily basis when I'm cleaning out his tank that his poo has a green color to it. I've asked the vet what could be causing that and it's something we should worry about or not. I never get a straight answer. Odin has it, Loki doesn't. They're both on the same meds. What's up with the green coloring? Any clues as to what is going on here?
I still can't believe the biopsy report from Dante came back with no conclusion as to the answer to what this mystery illness is. But at this point, I'm just starting to think it'll just be easier to put the other two down... I hate the fact that I've started thinking this way, but it's pretty disheartening when you've been thru two vets and still not getting answers.
I've already called the vet twice this week... and still have not recieved a call back so I can question him on what could possibly be going on with Odin. I'm really starting to think he's just as clueless as the rest. :main_no:
