I'm going crazy. I thought I was all done for the year, even though we got a late start-and she's got eggs still! She's one of the ones I've had trouble with the infertile eggs-so far she's laid 1 fertile, and 4 infertiles-she just laid 2 a few days ago and I was hoping, but duds. So I figured she was done, but I checked her today and clearly visable eggs. What is the chance of her reabsorbing them, or should I just re-breed her back to my bell again? I just don't know if we should breed her again, since I know it's just as much energy to pass infertiles. Marcia we also switched back to the reptical, so maybe that will help with this batch if it's not too late. I don't understand, she's the only female I have left ovulating, so it's not hormones from the other gals. I was all set to start fattening her up like my other gals for next year and wel...

Mine is late too. I have one female finished and six still laying. Looks like it'll be a late season next year too...

Almost all of our girls are still laying! They're all still at a pretty good weight too. I'm glad that a certain one finally laid her last clutch; (she layed 15 clutches this season!) A few of ours have stopped laying, but we're definately feeling those late-season-layers!

The ones I started in Jan. have stopped laying, one after 20 fertile eggs, one after 14 and one who produced just 1 baby. About a month ago I bred a younger gecko because she was ovulating and not eating. She's eating again, gave me one probably fertile egg about 2 weeks ago and seems to have 2 more, so I don't know how much longer I'll go. The babies will be SHTCT x Redstripe (het for albino) so I'm curious to see how they turn out.

I just started pairing my Leos (first Mama looks like she's going to lay tonight, my fingers are crossed). I wanted to get all of my cornsnake clutches done for the year (9 clutches with close to a 100 babies total) before tackeling the Leos. :)

My first batch of breeders is slowing down, but now i'm letting my other batch go! I tried to divide it up, and it seemed to work! I've got line bred snows, and mostly all my stripes, and my het raining red stripe project all yet to even be placed together! :)

Plus we have about 20 eggs still cooking in the incubator, and about half of my first batch of females are still laying :D

At this moment I have one female laying, she's been laying duds since she has not even been bred. However I decided to put a male with her a couple of weeks ago, so she may be brewing a surprise for me.
