anyone feed mealworm beetles to geckos?

just wondering if it is safe to feed some beetles to my geckos? will they kill them in there jaws before swallowing?

From what I have read and been told geckos won't eat the beetles and they may bite on your leo

wow, one of my leos just went crazy over the beetles, ate a dozen ! and they dont get out of the feeder dish like crickets either !!!

I got desperate and tried feeding beetles to my leos but they watched them and then sniffed and walked away like it was something nasty. So that didnt work but thats okay because I have two turtles that love the beetles! lol

its funny, the leo that just ate the beetles wont eat crickets lol

My greedy leos that eat everything take the beetles. The picky ones don't. It all depends on how greedy or unpicky your leo is.

well, i have 5 geckos and as of this morning 4 of them ate beetles ! and the funny thing is the one that didnt eat them is my best eater lol ill bet he eats them tonight. none of them got out of the feeder dish which is a catfood dish i bought at dollar general and unlike mealworms they are all still alive and moving.

are there any problems anyone has had feeding beetles? lets here your stories because i know alot of people want to know about this topic !
