Anyone had this experience with female breeders?

I'm wondering about what experiences people with fairly extensive breeding histories have had with their female breeders. Assuming healthy breeding stock bought from reputable breeders, have you had much experience with any of these things happening:

--producing well (18-20 fertile eggs) for 1 or 2 years and then no more production
--producing well one year or more and then having a major crash in weight and calcium absorption in a subsequent year
--not producing at all
--producing well for a year or two and then producing high percentage of offspring with defects

This obviously doesn't happen with all my breeders, but it has happened with a higher percentage than I anticipated. The geckos in question are not related to each other. I'm curious to know whether it's happening to others because it would signal to me that there may be more of a general problem with breeding stock for a variety of reasons which could include in-breeding and general weakening of the species.

So, no one has had any of these problems, no one who has bred a number of females for several years has read this, or no one wants to admit to having had any of these problems? Just curious.
