I was wondering the same thing about car people being involved in this stuff... :D

I'm heavily into turbocharged German stuff - Mostly Audi/VW. :main_yes: I worked @ Sleeper's Performance for awhile learning and building some of the scariest cars I've ever seen.

I have a VW GTI - somewhere in the neighborhood of 500-550WHP on pump gas. :) I built it while working @ Sleeper's. T60-1 turbo, 630CC injectors, Built 2.9L VR6 engine... Fun stuff. :) We dyno'd it 2 years ago turbocharged on the stock engine - in 87% humidity and 93F heat it made just over 400WHP... Then we took it all apart and it turned out to be running on 5 cyls. :p

Way too much time & money with car stuff... I had 2 Supras before this car... Now i'm trying to spend money a bit smarter so I'm taking it easy on the car stuff. :main_rolleyes:

Edit: Ehatcher - I envy your RWD! Plans to Supercharge in the future? I've seen a supercharged WS6 @ the CT car shows - nuts!

We've been all over the road with cars and racing. Our latest project is our huge Ford dually. The truck is a complete beast, and we've spent WAY too much money building it. It's right around 600hp, and would be way more, but it's choking like crazy and needs twins to keep up with the engine. That, and the guy that dyno'd it told Danny the wrong day, and instead of canceling someone else he made the three runs within 4 minutes...made Danny REALLY mad!! The truck had NO time to cool down, nor would the guy let Danny switch to other power settings, it was ridiculous, but here's a couple pics, and the dyno video...GOT SMOKE? lol

And here is an old show car of my husbands, a '97 del Sol. Not only did it used to win shows up and down the west coast, but it is pushing out 320hp. Only problem was that when it dyno'd it had WAY too small of a fuel pump. It's now MY baby, so I have been tinkering on it and plan to dyno it again just for fun in the future. No more racing though :) It doesn't have the sponsor stickers all over it anymore.

Dan, I LOVE our paint on that car. Danny wanted to go yellow, but I told him NO lol. It's definitely a unique color, we got a deal on the paint job for $3000, and over 200 hours were spent sanding and painting. It would have cost us twice that anywhere else! The shop we got the car painted at made me angry though...one of their employees painted their car the same color! It's hard to capture the color through the camera, it always turns up being more yellow than it really is.

If done right, low riders look sweet. On the other hand most people don't do it right and they make it look stupid. I like lifted truck myself but I almost wanna drop my new f150 cause they look great dropped in IMO
