Those ALL sounds like very interesting projects. And to me ALL sound very accomplishable with time and persistence at what you want.

If I where to do this project, I would most likely get an Albey Carrot-tail or something. They already have the hypo gene and are very light in color, so that might be the route to go. I would assume that once you get a super snow all the color they have would be taken away much like the tang in the R.A.P.T.O.R. when breed to a super snow.

You might also want to look at the reduced pattern super snow on this page. I don’t believe any are avaible at this time, but you might want to contact him, and see if any are, or when they will be.

I don’t even think it would be that hard. Steve Skyes already has some AMAZING bold strip mack snows. I’m planning on getting a pair myself next year to work on the bold strip super snow. You might want to check them out. They are very far down the line and are VERY white, and have a REALLY nice bold strip. I can tell you I’m impressed with them.

Here are a male and a female that have already sold, but they are some of the whitest Macks I have ever seen, with the added bonus of being bold strips

You might also want to consider something like the hypo macks further up the page for the hypo super snow

That would be a very cool gecko to look at. I think you could line breed this from either the reduced pattern super snows (most seem to have some good strips already) or from the bold strip mack snows.

I remember seeing a classified add on here, with a gecko that would be an excellent start to this project. You might want to contact this seller to see if it has or hasn’t sold yet.

Yep, the "boldstripe" SS is well on its way--similar to the "white sided" trait in Raptors, they are an extreme version of an elementary pattern. In alot of lines, the patterning is heading towards being even more dorsally concentrated. I'd love to see what the second generation of pure HQ Redstripe x Mack super snow would look like :D If i were to do this cross personally, I'd then breed Boldstripe genes into the "redsnows/redsupersnows" You'd also get some "hypos" when the "patternless" redstripe trait expresses itself. :main_thumbsup:

I'm working on super hypo mack tremper albino super snow. Some by products will of course be super hypo mack ss.

I always wanted to try a Bold stripe x ss pairing. But never really did it, I will not get started on this project till 2010 when my bold stripes are line bred and better colours.
