i love it. actually the indirect belly heat is quite weird. the back 2 legs sit on the heat cable and it has a radiant heating type effect going on there.

As far as cost if you go to Animalplastic.com just look at the Iris 375. I got the 10 shelf rack. It's quite sturdy. Make sure you either work out or get a power drill. There are about 70ish screws in one rack.

No i didn't make it this month. as you can see from my last 2 threads started i have been a little busy making some huge purchases this winter. You know Ohio has to be represented well in the Leo Market. HAHA.

Hmmm... that's strange. I have 'indirect belly heat' on all of my racks and the tub feet don't sit on the cable groove... they sit actually just behind it.

I don't know if they changed the indirect belly heat. I know you were talking about how it's a serpentine pattern on the shelf. mine is a straight line across the back. But according to my herpstat it's maintaining a 92ish degree temp.

looks good, is the indirect heat better than the direct belly heat?

With the indirect belly heat (imo) there is more of a temp gradient. For being in a smaller tub, compaired to a tank, i wanted to offer a hot spot, warm spot, and a cooler spot. I highly recomend AP to anyone.
