if you bought the economy rack (open sides)from AP would you temp gun your heat cable and tell me what the temp is and where you placed the thermostat probe.thanks i have been having problems with mine for almost a year now i need some one that has this racks opinion. Thanks guys!

what i am experiencing is the heat cable is running about 115-120 degrees and my probe is placed over the cable running north and south. any help here would be great! also my tubs are reading 92-94 degrees with the heat cable reading with that high temp. i am about to scrap the hole damn thing and replace with flexwatt not happy!!

Eric, I got the economy racks, and ended up NOT using the heat cable, and switching to flexwatt. It's not pretty, but it's much better for the geckos. HTH. :main_thumbsup:
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Finally Thank you Debbie thats what i am going to do also i have one female thats already been burned do to the poor lay out of the rack. don't get me wrong i like mark and allie but this rack is not very well designed with the tubs and heat cable. thank you again
