No. Some APTORS do not carry the eclipse genes at all.

I am going to try my best and explain this...
An APTOR might not be het eclipse. but.. An APTOR can produce RAPTOR's.
The stripe and reverse stripe combination (as Ron Tremper would put it) "unlock" the eclipse gene.
I have heard of people that bred stripe X reverse stripe (or the f2 gen patternless stripe not sure) produced eclipses. And had NO relationship with any of Ron's eclipses.
