aquarium backing?

If I wanted to put aquarium backing on my tank should I put it just on the back or on the short sides too.

Whatever you prefer. Some people feel their geckos are more comfortable with more privacy, so their enclosure isn't exposed to the outside on many sides and they would cover 3 sides of the enclosure. I find my geckos seem to like to look around.
