Aquarium decorations?

Is there any reason why I could not use (clean, non-toxic, never-before-used) aquarium decorations in a gecko enclosure? I have these two really neat "broken" vases that I think would make awesome hides, but I wanted to check first. The edges are smooth and the openings are large, so I'm sure there's no danger of a gecko getting injured or stuck inside one. They have stable bases and won't tip over.

Also, is it safe to use stuff that's been glued with a hot glue gun in a gecko enclosure?

Fish tank decorations are fine, I use a few. As far as the glue, if its dry I dont see it being any harm to the gecko.
