Are there any genetics behind an aberrant?

Im just wondering if there are any proven genetics behind aberrant geckos. For example, if you breed 2 aberrants, will the offspring be aberrant? I'm wondering because i had a female who i got 1 clutch from last year, and one hatchling was an aberrant. This year, her 3rd clutch has hatched, and both clutchmates were abberants. This leads me to think there has to be some gene floating around that produces them. any thoughts?

both parents this year are hypo-tangs. Im not sure who the male was last year, as she had already been bred when i bought her. That makes me think that this female may carry some gene for aberrant (not sure if she would be considered an aberrant herself or not).

Looks like an aberrant mother to me. Shes just hypoed out so its hard to tell. I believe that aberrant is considered to be polygenetic.

Mom is a abberant hypo tangerine. As abberant is the half way point of being jungle and breeding jungle to normal can result in jungle offspring and jungle to jungle does result in a good percent of the offspring being jungle you can ofcourse expect the same thing from abberant pattern. It is deffantly a inherited gene.In this i mean that it not a solid gene like doninant/co dom/or recessive but it is passed on to some or most of the offspring.

It is related to Jungle/Stripe IMO. Aberrants may actually be Jungles, that simply do not fit the description well. These are animals we are talking about, and each one is different.:)
