Are there any relatives or progeny of Chestnut and Cinnamon out there?

Okay, so this may come across as an odd thread, but I'm not sure putting out a classified ad would work?

I'm looking for tangerines like these to start a modest (but super fun for me) line bred project I'm calling Earthtones.

http://www.theurbangecko.com/leopard_carrottail.html

I'm envisioning taking this palette further by enhancing the deep tangerine/russet/reddish tones as tangerines head more toward red in general. I do plan on keeping a separate tangerine line as well.

I imagine it will be many years in the making (at the very least 4-5). If anyone out there is already working on something like this, please PM me so we could maybe work together on it? I'd like to start infusing some new blood into what I'm starting by next fall.

I would be interested in any geckos actually descended from the TUG two above; but any that also resemble them would be welcome. I did call TUG and leave a VM inquiry on this about a week ago, but have not heard back from them at all. I'm looking for a 1.2 or perhaps 2.2 group, preferably from different sources so that I start out not-too-inbred to start with.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful.
Thanks!

Good luck with it! TUG is in IL right now vending at the NARBC show. I'm guessing they'll be leaving either tonight or tomorrow.

Aha! so that's why no answer.

Anyone else have "dark hypo" projects going on? I know there has to be someone working on this...I'd really love to collaborate here.

Hrrrmmmm...maybe I should search the "brown turd" threads...I don't think they're ugly, they've got potential.

LOL, I actually want to move to BC, but I promised myself I wouldn't go until I was an acupuncturist and can get a little acreage for my greenhouses to grow funky medicinal things in them from everywhere around the world with solar panels and stuff...oh, wait that's my other dream, the longer one.

But I've heard you can't have geckos there? Back to them.

Yes, I love me some chocolatey tangs...I dream of mocha geckos with reddish undertones. With enigma eyes maybe, later?

We've got a neat group of them we're working with. I really enjoy how they change colors from day to day.

I produced a female out of Tango and Drake that is very nicely hypo but darker than her mother.

Her name is Quiz:

These pictures are outside on a cloudy day...it is fall in Seattle...

It's somewhere to start, anyhow.
