how do you tell if two leos aren't getting along?

every now and then i hear a pretty loud rattling and when i look up i notice my female running off in the opposite direction from where my male and her were just before the rattling noise.

or maybe, could this maybe a sign that he is trying to mate with her?

i haven't seen any bite marks on either leo. thats a good sign. :main_yes:

I'm not sure if you were intending to breed them or not, but that's definitely what your male has in mind. Males and females really shouldn't be housed together unless your initial plan is to breed them, since your male is just going to stress her out with his repeated breeding/breeding attempts.

the rattling is his tail vibrations indicating he smells her phermones and is ready to rock ad roll..

As Val said separate them if you don't plan on breeding.

Thanks for the info. i guess I'm going to have to fork out for another setup. i assumed that he would try to mate if the temps were low. i guess i was misinformed.

I'm too new to this hobby to start raising youngsters. :worried2:
