I just looked into my females enclosure, (stevie and spot) my tremper and my blizz and I had a look at stevies tail, it looked like spot had taken a chunk out of it! Safe to say I took stevie out straight away and sanitized the area with some tamodine, she is now in a tub of her own.

I don't understand spots reason for it though, I know blizzards are grumpy little buggers but she is over 80G, so very well fed, they allways have mealworms avaliable they have over 2foot long by 1.5 foot deep for the both of them with several hides. + they have been together for ages!!

I really don't understand why the little sod did it, safe to say stevie wasn't too badly cut after I had washed the blood away, but she had more knicks on her, one on her underside, one on her throat, a couple just behind her eye and a few on her tail! I can't believe I missed them! ARGH its just a pain in the bum I was running around the house frantic trying to find another heat mat so I could seperate them both everyone was getting abuse thrown at them, In the end I had to move Lokki my ball python into my little sisters room so I had enough room to put stevie up safely.

Its just a waiting game now, her tail and other knicks (the tail was the worst) don't look infected at the moment but i will keep washing with tamodine. She was shedding tonight its the only reason I noticed it, thankfully I got it all off from around her wounds.

JEEEESSHHHH glad thats off my chest.
Time to relax and watch top gear.

HAHA, You know I did check if she was just getting stroppy because of early ovulation but it doesn't look like she is ovulating yet either.

Yeah they have been together for a good 10 months.
Never had a problem before.

they are woman, you know how we can be

most likely it wasn't anything that they do not have, just a tiff one walked by in an odd manner or something. never know. when you put stevie back in there just watch them to see if spot does it again and if she does just separate them into their own enclosures.
