ask about my tail of N.Levis levis

hi all.. i want to ask you something about my N.levis levis

i have 2 female N.Levis and she is aged 8-9 months and eating regularly
and the problem is they body so big/fat but the tail still small
i heard thats for breeding they must need the big tails..

how to make them have the big tails.??
anyone ever experienced???

I work with 5 species of Aussie knobtails, and I would not even think about breeding them until they are in their second year. However, there IS an 'intergrade' that is referred to as a "long tail" that really does not have the broad 'beaver tail' that the pure N' l. levis are noted for. The theory is that years ago there was little information on the several different sub-species of N. levis, and they were inadvertently hybridized.
