Yeah so? Are cats and dogs any better? Is driving a car any better? Pretty much everything we do is bad for the enviroment( that I can think of).

IMO, animal rights groups are wack, anyway. PETA is by far the worst. They want to outlaw and eradicate my beloved American Pit Bull Terriers - the most amazing dogs in the world if properly bred and socialized. My family will never be without one. Bob

well duh so do dogs, cats, and humans. without the bacteria they'd probably die of starvation

I just find it hilarious that the article only mention birds...ONCE! Talk about hypocrisy. They ruined NYC by outlawing reptiles because someone got attacked by a TIGER. HOWEVER the bird industry (which is pretty the same as the reptile industry) is allowed to thrive because they sale animals with "feelings" and "social needs"!
