30 to 60 days... The time it takes for eggs to "hatch" depends on humidity and temp in the bin...

Personally, I would stay away from lateralis... Some people have reported infestations in their homes...

lateralis are awesome, they breed really fast. Any roach can infest your house. Even dubia.

Technically speaking a Dubia comes from a tropical environment while a B.lateralis is a bit more tolerant, and is considered a pest roach in quite a few countries of Europe. Also Dubia mature MUCH slower then Lateralis.... personally I dislike Lateralis due to their speed....

lateralis are ok, I mean they breed like crazy!! I wouldn't use them as an all the time stable mainly because for me it takes for ever to just pick them out and feed them. They are ok if your hand feeding or if your feeding inverts.
