Yeah we tried rubbing the pinkie on our anole. We have dipped pinkies in chicken blood ( from chicken livers). We tried heating the head of a defrosted pinkie with a hair dryer. My husband did the braining thing. We read to tease the baby corn with the pinkie by tapping it lightly on the snout....that had no efffect on her what-so-ever. This is my son'd thrid baby corn and the other two ate fine right from day one. We rae at a loss with this one. We had a fecal done and she didn't have any parasites that would affect her appitite. I am afraid we are going to have to resort to force feeding and I really worry about that. We have used live and defrosted pinkies. I don't think that I could feed an anole (I own a little guy Freddie) but if it comes down to a last resort I have a friend that would come and bring one and do the chore, yuck.

I highly suggest using the tuna juice, I know several people on other forums that have gotten snakes that wouldn't eat for months to eat by doing this.

I will give it a try. Do you just use canned tuna? Here is her picture. Im not sure if anyone can tell much from them. I don't hold the snakes...I just look at them.

Ya just put the pinkie in tuna juice from the can for a few minutes then offer it to him. From the pictures he doesn't look to skinny so don't get to worried. Its possible he could be going off feed because of the winter. Ball pythons are notorious for this but its not uncommon for other snakes to do this also. Good luck.

She ate!!!!! Apparently she likes gecko!!! No I didn't feed her a gecko, lol. I took a pinkie and borrowed the scent of one of my geckos. She went right after it. I also got Tuna on hand to try that the next time. Thanks for all the advice and suggestions. I appreciate it!!!!

Ruby, this might be useful for next time..

I was on another forum and many people were talking about a trick they use for reluctant feeders..

Brace yourself..

Rubbing the feeder in an empty KFC bucket!

I don't know if it's healthy, but what could a little grease hurt? Hehe.
