yes they probibly would but they wouldnt eat it because if they did people would feed it to there leopard's and besides if they did vegtables arnt baby food
I usually stick to one kind of insect for a few weeks, then I use something else...I try to vary the diet as much as possible so that it stimulates them to eat better...they don't really know what to expect, but most of the time they eat everything...I think I use something like, 6 or 7 different kinds of feeders. I don't feel they need "treats", as they don't need to be positively reinforced for good behavior. They're lizards.
Baby food can be used for sick, debilatated, recovering animals that are experiancing the symptom of anorexia. It should NOT be used as a replacement, and insects should always be offered in addition. It should never be used on a regular basis, as it contains little to no nutritional value.
Don't feed your leopard gecko lettuce or vegetables, mainly for the reason that it will go bad very quickly in the tank and remain uneaten, possibly develop bacteria or ants...nobody likes that. Leopard geckos are nocturnal stalkers...they wait for something to move, and then pounce on it. There is no movement involved in lettuce and other vegetables, so it is of no intrest to them.
Think of it this way... Cresteds live in a a humid tropical setting where they eat rotting fruit and little insects. Leopards live in the desert, where there is only insects to eat!
