He/she does not seem to want to eat on it's own.

As much as I do not like to stress the little one out. It seems to spook very easily and just opening the lid to the tank will get him doing the tail dance and attack my hand.

Anyways, because it has not looked like it has eaten since I got it. I tried just leaving my hand in the tank with a worm between my fingers. It got pissy and attacked my fingers but grabbed the worm in the process.

Worked for about 3 times then after that it calmed down. I would rather like to see it eat on its own from the little cup of worms I left in there but at least for now I got a little confirmation that it ate.

Im hoping that now that it's gotten a taste for the worms (Phoenix) it may recognize it as food and eat on its own. So i left a few more in a cup and will keep an eye on it over the next couple of days.

But then again it could have backfired and it could be associating the stress of my hand in the tank with the worms now...

I have tried crickets as well, in fact the few crickets I had initially placed in there are all still accounted for in the tank.

The person I got this gecko from that had both the little one and the female leopard in the same tank just said "I feed them crickets"

I have doubts that she put in different size crickets to accommodate for the both of them. But then again if they supposedly co-existed for several months together I guess it was eating fine then.

As far as heating goes, I have both an under tank heater and a lamp up top on one side of the tank. If I remember correctly the hot side averaged somewhere in the mid 80's as far as temperatures go.
